Building Technologies, Inc. delivers expert mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and facilities engineering to federal agencies and prime contractors across the United States.
Building Technologies, Inc. is a newly formed Wyoming corporation led by James L. Jones, a veteran engineer with over four decades of experience in federal facility engineering, operations, and maintenance.
We serve federal agencies, prime contractors, and mission-critical commercial clients with a full range of mechanical engineering services — from HVAC systems design and installation to long-term operations and preventive maintenance programs.
As a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we are positioned to compete on set-aside federal contracts and partner with prime contractors seeking a reliable, experienced SDVOSB subcontractor.
James L. Jones brings over 40 years of expertise in federal facility engineering, mechanical systems, and operations management. A service-disabled veteran, Jim has led engineering programs at some of the most demanding federal and commercial facilities in the country — from military medical centers and Air Force bases to semiconductor fabs and major transit infrastructure.
Most recently serving as Chief Engineer for Applied Materials in San Jose for more than 20 years, Jim led the team that achieved a 32.5% reduction in electrical consumption, earning the 2024 GSA Region 9 Energy Champion Award. Jim founded Building Technologies, Inc. to bring that same performance-driven approach to federal contracting as a veteran-owned small business.
We welcome inquiries from federal agencies, prime contractors, and teaming partners. Request our full capability statement or discuss your project requirements.
